Pre-Ride

Due to trail conditions the Allatoona creek trails will be closed Friday 2/21/14 and will not be available for pre-ride. Please adhere to park policy and

keep off trails. The Park is trying to prep the trails and have them race ready.

 

$10.00 late fee applied to Race Day registration.

**All Solo categories and age groups apply to Male and Female.

**Race age is calculated by year of race minus birth year. (ex. 2013 -1985= Race age of 28)

 

Rules

All racers must attend racers meeting. The 3 Hour mountain bike race will start at 11:30 am. Unless otherwise announced in the racers meeting the race will be a mass start.

 

As you approach the pit area you may stop in your pit area. Once each racer approaches the timing/finish area:

 

1. Each rider must dismount off of the bike and run or walk across the timing mat. (failure to do so may result in DQ)

2. Each racer must have the number plate mounted and visible on the front of the bike.

3. Once you cross through the timing area you may get back on the bike and continue back out on the course or teams may exchange the timing chip within the designated transition area. (all chips must be exchanged within the transition area, failure to do so may result in DQ)

 

Racers may ride as many laps consecutively as they wish. Each racer must ride a minimum of 1 lap during the 3 hour period. All laps must be completed by 2:30 p.m. or they will NOT count The 3 hour race winners will be the racers that have tallied the most laps at the end of the 3 hours in the fastest time.

 

*All racers may assist other racers. No outside assistance at any point within the time limits of start to finish of the race.

 

Unless otherwise posted, race will be held. Safety of all racers is main priority.

If the race is cancelled due to inclement weather, the race will be made up at the series finale 3 Hours of Payne on April 19th. You will receive double points counting towards the make up race. All race t-shirts for make up race will be handed out at registration as well. Race cancellation will be posted on the home page of www.chainbusterracing.com up to 72 hours prior to the event not to exceed Friday February 21 at 8pm.

 

Novice Class

All novice racers will race 1 lap.

 

Awards

Custom Medallions and prizes will be given out to the overall top 3 male and female finishers. Custom race medallions will be presented to the top 3 male and female finishers in each age group. Novice awards will be presented when we have the top 3 finishers back for both male and female.

 

Severe Weather Policy

Unless otherwise posted, race will be held. Safety of all racers is main priority.

 

Transfer / Refund Policy

There will be no registration transfers or refunds once registration is processed.
