The Gobbler
6/3 Hour MTB Race

For more than 12 years, Chainbuster Racing has visited the Georgia International Horse Park for The Gobbler 6/3. We are excited to return to this iconic course for race #2 of our 2025-2026 season. Twice in one year means double the fun!! We usually host this race in January but by popular request, we are moving to the fall.
The Gobbler 6/3 features both old school hand-built singletrack as well as machine cut flow sections. But this race course is not the normal Steeplechase route! It's climby. It's fun. It's EPIC! It will still feature all the things you love about GIHP, but in an even more random order! In fact, you'll hit the feed zone TWICE in each lap!

COURSE DISTANCE: 9ish miles
COURSE DIFFICULTY: 8
Because we use a portion of the horse trails, we are unable to post a course map. The course stays on the steeplechase side.
PARKING
Parking is abundant and available in the gravel parking lot and Steeple Chase Field.
All campers and RVs must stay in the gravel parking lot.
