Shake & Brake Gravel Race

A Chainbuster gravel staple, Shake N Brake has been a part of the gravel series from the beginning. In 2023, this favorite got an update! Now starting from beautiful downtown Piedmont, AL, the route will take you over Dugger Mountain and into the beautiful Talladega National Forest. Along the way 60 mile route, you'll encounter beautiful mountain views, scenic cascading streams, and plenty of rolling hills.

After the race, there will be an amazing post-race meal hosted by Shell's Restaurant at The Place Downtown.

Trust us, you do not want to miss any part of this amazing weekend!

Plan to stay all weekend as the after-party continues with a concert by Adam Hood, included in your race registration!

PARKING

Parking is plentiful in downtown Piedmont!

Please part in designated parking spaces. Do not block driveways. Also, keep in mind that West Ladiga Street will be closed between Center Street and Main Street as that is where the START/FINISH is located.
